Drought conditions continued in Southwest Texas and Southeast New Mexico. The Midland International Airport reported 0.30 inches of precipitation for June, which is 1.25 inches below normal. The total for the April-June period was a bleak 0.32 inch versus the climate average of 4.36 inches or about 7% of normal.Agricultural losses will be great but will not be included until the end of the drought or the end of the harvest when totals are calculated.
