A severe thunderstorm continued to produce wind damage across southeastern Burlington County. Burlington County emergency personnel responded to about 1,400 calls of assistance throughout the county. The hardest hit area in the southeast part of the county was in and around Atsion (Shamong Township). The damage became less as the thunderstorm neared the Atlantic and the strongest part of the storm went into Ocean County.
