A severe thunderstorm downed trees and power lines throughout the county hitting Cherry Hill and Voorhees the hardest. County emergency personnel responded to over 350 calls of assistance and there were about 1,000 reports of downed trees, limbs and power lines.

County emergency personnel responded to over 350 calls of assistance and there were about 1,000 reports of downed trees, limbs and power lines. Two vehicles were crushed by fallen trees in Somerdale.
