A squall line of severe thunderstorms produced wind damage in western parts of Cumberland County. Hardest hit was Hopewell Township with numerous trees down. Some of the downed trees damaged the roofs of several homes. Some car windows were broken also. About 1,000 homes and businesses lost power in the western part of the county including the Bridgeton area.
