Severe thunderstorms caused wind damage in several communities in Cheshire County. Trees and wires were reported down in Walpole and wires were downed in Hinsdale. Trees were reported to have fallen and crashed into some homes in Winchester. Four to six inch diameter trees were downed in Sullivan. Power outages occurred due to the wind in Keene, Swanzey, and Westmoreland. In Jaffrey, in the far southeast part of the county, trees were downed, closing some roads.
