Winds from a severe thunderstorm took down trees and power lines in Bow. An 80-foot pine tree fell though the roof of one home. A tree fell on a car on Route 3A. Wires were reported down along many roads. A pole holding the State Department of Transportation antenna and State Police backup transmitter was knocked down by the wind. Based on the tree damage, wind speeds were estimated to be greater than 58 mph.
