Winds from a severe thunderstorm downed trees in Tuftonboro. Extensive damage occurred at the North Woods YMCA camp where 400 campers were stranded due to fallen trees blocking the roadways. Route 109 was also closed. Wind speeds were estimated to be greater than 58 mph based on the damage to trees.
