A National Weather Service employee reported a 70 MPH wind gust during a severe thunderstorm at Greenwood. Several large trees were blown down as a result of the winds.
Severe thunderstorm winds gusted to 55 MPH at the National Weather Service office in Pleasant Hill. The Pleasant Hill Police reported several power lines blown down. Several telephone poles were knocked down in East Lynn at K Highway and 227th St.

The Marshall Police department reported numerous trees and power lines down as a result of the thunderstorm winds. Marshall PD estimated wind gusts to 60 MPH while a local radio station reported wind gusts to 53 MPH in Marshall.
