Heavy rainfall caused widespread flooding across Franklin County. Up to 35 roads were closed during the early morning hours due to the flooding. Meramec State Park suffered damage as did other recreation areas along the Meramec River. Farmland along the river was also flooded destroying much of the corn and soy bean crops.
