A warm front moved north into southeast Michigan during the early morning hours. The atmosphere in the area was already quite moist and unstable, and the front provided a focus for thunderstorm development.A tornadic supercell developed in Jackson County at around sunrise. This storm lost supercell characteristics as it moved into southeast Michigan, and evolved into a bow echo. The windows were blown out of a residence as the bow echo passed.
