Severe thunderstorm moved across the extreme north portion of Washington Parish resulting in numerous reports of downed trees and power lines. Most of the damage occurred in the small communities near the Mississippi state line.

Severe thunderstorm moved across the extreme north portion of Washington Parish resulting in numerous reports of downed trees and power lines. Most of the damage occurred in the small communities near the Mississippi state line. Approximately 60 houses in the parish had wind damage, many from being struck by falling trees or large tree branches.
