Minor flooding of the Ohio River persisted into mid month. Crests were from 1 to 3 feet above flood stage at Mt. Vernon and at Newburgh. The crest occurred on the 7th at Newburgh and on the 11th at Mt. Vernon. Minor flooding of low-lying agricultural areas occurred.
