Minor flooding of the lower Ohio River continued into mid May. Crests were about 3 feet above flood stage at Paducah and Uniontown, and a foot over flood stage at Smithland. The dates of the crest were between the 8th and 11th. Flooding was generally confined to agricultural bottomlands, riverfront parks, and recreational facilities such as boat ramps.
