Thunderstorm winds blew down a beer tent at the county fair. The tent injured 3 people, one seriously. Also, numerous trees, tree limbs, and power lines were blown down countywide.
Several power lines were blown down in Forest City.
Several trees were blown down eight miles west of Williamsville. One of the fallen trees landed on chimney and caused minor damage. No injuries were reported and no damage estimate was available.
Thunderstorm winds, which were gusting to 79 mph at the weather service office, caused considerable damage throughout Logan county. The winds blew down hundreds of trees, tree limbs, power poles, and power lines. One mile north of Broadwell, an equipment shed was destroyed. Several homes sustained damage from fallen trees and/or tree limbs. One woman was slightly injured when a fireworks tent that she was working in blew down.
