Strong west to northwest winds occurred in the wake of a cold front associated with an intense low pressure system moving northward through Quebec. Peak wind gusts were generally in the range of 40 to 50 mph. A peak gust to 47 mph was reported at Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks. There were no reports of damage.
