A tornado touched down in an open field. No damage was reported. In addition to the tornado however, severe thunderstorms produced heavy rain and large hail. Hail was reportedly piled up 12 to 18 inches deep in spots. As a result, several county roads in northern Morgan County were washed out.

Lightning struck a colonial style home south of Windsor. The ensuing fire caused extensive damage to the home making it unliveable.
