A large dust devil moved across the back yard of a farm house near Redvale, heaving lawn chairs and other items into the sky. The dust devil moved into a field and broke off half of a sideroll, hurling the sideroll about 200 yards. The sideroll struck 20 horses and pinned them to a fence. The steel posts of the fence snapped in two and several horses fell over the fence and broken steel posts. About half of the horses were injured, two seriously.
