Heavy rains caused flooding across the central and south parts of the county. Many secondary dirt roads were closed for several hours until the water had drained. Most of the flooding was to roads that run off of Alabama Highway 17 south of Butler. Doppler radar estimated that five to six inches of rain fell across the area.
