Rains of 1.5 to 2.5 inches were widespread in a 12 hour period. A maximum of 2.5 to 3 inches of rain was measured in parts of Barbour and Upshur Counties. The ground was very dry prior to the rain. No significant flooding occurred. Minor overflow was reported along Elk Creek in Barbour County.
