A second round of thunderstorms in less than 12 hours flooded the small creeks called Chestnut Run, Spring Run, and Deavers Fork. Two vehicles and some farm equipment were flooded. Bales of hay were washed into the streams. Small private bridges were damaged.
Rains of 2 to 2.5 inches fell in less than 2 hours. Isaacs Run, Parchment Creek, Johns Run, and Big Horse Run flooded roads. County officials reported 15 to 30 houses with minor flooding, mostly garages.
