Giant size hail, which covered the ground in spots, caused extensive damage to crops over a four mile long and four mile wide swath. One rural home received extensive damage to its interior when the hail penetrated the roof allowing water from heavy rain to drain into the house.

Giant size hail, which covered the ground in spots, caused extensive damage to crops over a four mile long and four mile wide swath. One rural home received extensive damage to its interior when the hail penetrated the roof allowing water from heavy rain to drain into the house. The house, along with other homes in the vicinity received damage to siding and numerous shattered windows. One eye witness reported seeing numerous dead small animals killed by the hail.
