A low pressure system moved east from the Great Lakes region Monday (1/27/97) and up the St Lawrence Valley Monday night and then into Canada Tuesday morning (1/28/97).Across Central and Northeast Vermont between 6 and 12 inches of snow fell...except in the Champlain Valley where between 2 and 6 inches of snow fell.
