A cluster of severe thunderstorms developed over northwest Utah during the evening. Microburst winds downed power lines and trees. Visibilities as low as 3/4 of a mile occurred due to blowing sand and dust. Peak wind gusts of 67mph (58kts) occurred at the Saltair Marina and the Brigham City Airport, and 60mph (52kts) occurred in Harrisville and South Jordan.
