A very strong winter weather storm moved across the central plains states through the day Saturday. This winter storm affected the northwest and northern Texas Panhandle producing four inches of snow at Texline with generally one to three inches elsewhere. High winds accompanied the winter storm which produced blowing and drifting of the snow which resulted in numerous road closures. Drifts were reported to be as high as four feet near Perryton.
