Heavy snow fell across parts of the South Plains late on the 7th into the first half of the 8th. Lynn, Crosby, Garza, and Motley Counties received the most snow. Crosbyton reported over 6 inches, Tahoka and Post had 5, and Matador received 6.5 inches.
