A major winter storm brought relatively heavy snow to Far West Texas. By more northerly standards, the 3 to 6 inches of snow that fell was not great however it produced significant problems for the local area.

A major winter storm brought relatively heavy snow to Far West Texas. By more northerly standards, the 3 to 6 inches of snow that fell was not great however it produced significant problems for the local area. Interstate 10 between El Paso and Las Cruces, New Mexico was closed and numerous traffic accidents were reported including three fatalities.
