The hardest hit areas in Giles county were the northern and western sections from this flash flood episode.Considerable damage was reported from high water in those areas from the flash flood in newspaper clippings. No specific dollar amount was available from Giles county Emergency Management Agency, but my estimate was $50,000 around the county. Rainfall estimates were 3 to 5 inches of rain from late Sunday night to early Monday morning.
