A shop near the home of Judy R. Mayes on Spoon Hollow Road and Kidwell Road was set ablaze when struck by lightning and was reported as a total loss. A barn at the intersection of Helton and Lakshore Roads burned to the ground after it was struck by lightning. The storm also knocked down numerous trees.
