Snowmelt runoff and ice jams forced the Grand River through Corson County over flood stage in the early morning hours of the 23rd. The Grand River 1 mile south of Little Eagle rose to 17.3 feet on March 24th. Flood stage is 15 feet. Flooding of lowlands and some roads resulted. The Grand River again went above flood stage from March 28th to the 29th and rose to 16.2 feet.
