An upper level disturbance moved over the central and northern Black Hills and produced upslope freezing rain and snow, below zero wind chills, and strong winds. Snow amounts were six to eight inches.

Snow amounts were six to eight inches. Northwest winds of 15 to 30 mph resulted in below zero wind chills and blowing snow reducing visibilities to less than one half mile.
