Three feet of water ponded onto West Jamestown Road after heavy thunderstorm rains fell. A motorist had to be rescued from the flood waters after her car stalled in the high water. Small feeder streams went out of their banks, however, larger streams did not flood. Mud and debris washed up onto some county roads.
