A thunderstorm briefly reached severe limits across northern Onondaga county. Downburst winds blew down severe large trees in Liverpool.
A severe thunderstorm crossed into northwestern Onondaga county and produced widespread wind damage in the town of Baldwinsville. Several large trees were uprooted and utility poles were knocked down across numerous roadways.
A thunderstorm rapidly became severe over northern portions of the county. Widespread wind damage was reported in Canastota, with the damage reports crossing into the town of Oneida shortly thereafter. Numerous trees and wires were downed in both localities. Two storage sheds were also damaged in Oneida with both a parked vehicle and camper heavily damaged from falling tree limbs.
The same severe storm that caused damage in Madison county ripped through central Oneida county, producing additional and widespread wind damage. The storm first affected the towns of Verona and Camden, downing numerous large trees which blocked many roads. Around and shortly after 600 pm, more trees and wires were felled in Westmoreland and Whitesboro. In Westmoreland, two homes sustained damage from falling trees and also had a portion of their aluminum siding torn off. Further east, more fallen trees and wires affected Maynard and the greater Utica area before the storm exited the county.
