Lightning ignited the shingle roof of a town house at Lakeview Drive. The fire, which began when lightning struck a peak in the roof, burned through the cathedral ceiling and destroyed a second floor bedroom. The fire also caused smoke damage to the second floor and water damage to the first floor. Firefighters were at the scene for about 2 hours.
