Up to two inches of rain fell during slow moving thunderstorms. These rains resulted in the flooding of several road ways throughout Western Cass County. Up to a foot of water covered the roads in Pecular.
Severe thunderstorms dropped large hail over sections of Cass County. A weather spotter in Archie reported golfball-size hail during the storms and the Belton Emergency Management reported dime-size hail in Belton.
Severe thunderstorms produced golfball-size hail in parts of Bates County. A Kansas City television station reported golfball-size hail a mile north of Adrian. The Adrian Police Department reported golfball-size hail in Rich Hill.
The Bates County sheriff office reported tree limbs down up to 6 inches in diameter in Amsterdown and 5 miles east of Worland. Wind speeds were estimated at 70 MPH by severe weather spotters.
