Several secondary roads off of US HWY 45 between State Line and Waynesboro were closed during the evening into the early morning hours because of high water. WSR-88D estimated that 5 to 6 inches of rain fell in this area beginning during the late afternoon and continuing into the early morning hours. Most of the rain fell during the early evening hours.
