What happened

The episode as NWS LCH wrote it up.

Widespread damage occurred across Eunice in St. Landry Parish during this severe thunderstorm. Three homes (two of them were mobile homes) received damage, with either trees blown down on them or roofs peeled off. One 19 year old woman was killed, indirectly attributed to the storm. Her car slid off a wet road, and tipped over with the driver's side window face down in a ditch filled with water. This occurred three hours after the severe thunderstorm had passed through the area.
