The same thunderstorm continued into the east part of Fayette county. A large tree was snapped off 15 to 20 feet above the ground and fell onto a truck and a car in the drive-through lane at a Wendy's restaurant.

The same thunderstorm continued into the east part of Fayette county. Trees were knocked down on the west side of Fayetteville.On highway 85 in Fayetteville, a McDonalds' sign was blown out.A large tree was snapped off 15 to 20 feet above the ground and fell onto a truck and a car in the drive-through lane at a Wendy's restaurant. Luckily, there were only minor bumps and bruises suffered by the occupants of the vehicles. Shingles were blown off of an office building. Other trees were blown down just east of that location.
