High Wind in Indiana, February 27, 1997
A strong cold front sweeping east across Indiana during the pre-dawn hours of February 27th produced widespread strong winds of 30 to 40 mph across much of Indiana. Isolated reports of wind gusts at 50 to 55 mph resulted in some tress being blown down and power lines knocked out by those trees.
