A winter storm moved across the state overnight mainly affecting Northern Idaho. The system brought 4 to 8 inches of new snow to many locations in the panhandle of Northern Idaho. Some higher totals included 8 inches at Kellogg in Shoshone County and 5 inches at Alder Creek in Benewah County and also at Athol in Kootenai County. In Southeastern Idaho, 6 to 7 inches fell at Mack's Inn and at Island Park in Fremont County.
