Where: Hawaii County, Hilo
Coordinates: 19.602, -155.523 (the zone’s center; the record gives no point)

Several houses in the Hilo and Puna Districts had flooded basements or ground floors. About a dozen cars were flooded out near Pauahi Street and Kamehameha Avenue in Hilo. In Puna, North Kulani Road, Hawaiian Acres and Fern Acres subdivisions were flooded. The Hawaiian Belt Road through the Kau District was flooded out in several locations between Naalehu and Pahala.
