Thunderstorms during the afternoon of June 29th produced very heavy rainfall which resulted in flash flooding in southern Carroll and northern Madison Counties of northwest Arkansas. 18 inches of gravel were washed out onto State Highway 21 4 miles west of Rudd, and high water covered several county roads near Kingston and Marble.
