A moderate 990mb low moved across the western Aleutians Sunday, deepening to a 984 mb center near the Pribilofs late Monday. The low then turned southeastward into the north Pacific where it began to weaken Tuesday.

A moderate 990mb low moved across the western Aleutians Sunday, deepening to a 984 mb center near the Pribilofs late Monday. The low then turned southeastward into the north Pacific where it began to weaken Tuesday. Brisk southeast winds preceded the front associated with the low where gusts reached 52 mph. Gusts to 52 mph were also observed across the central and western Aleutians along the southwest semicircle of the low.
