Very strong winds raked southeast Wyoming. Sustained winds were from 40 to 50 MPH, with many gusts between 60 MPH and 80 MPH. The strongest reported wind gust was 81 MPH, ten miles south of Wheatland at 500 AM MST. Some shingles were lost on houses northeast of Cheyenne.
