Slow-moving thunderstorms containing tropical moisture dumped additional heavy rain onto saturated ground. Widespread flooding was observed in Madison and Greene Counties. In Greene County, evacuations were ordered northwest of Stanardsville, near the intersection of local route 667 and Kenderhook Road. Numerous roads were closed in Madison Co, and a mud slide was reported.
