Thunderstorm during the afternoon hours on the 19th produced heavy rainfall which resulted in flash flooding.Heavy rainfall in northern portions of Montgomery County resulted in the flooding of the North Fork of the Roanoke River 8 miles northeast of Blacksburg. Several bridges in this area were under water.Heavy rainfall flooded routes 770 and 250 near Collierstown and route 50 near Glasgow in Rockbridge County. A house was flooded along Black Creek in Collierstown.
