A storm system moved from Kentucky late Monday night, November 25, 1996 northeast across southern portions of New England Tuesday afternoon, November 26, 1996. Wet snow and ice resulted in the power being cut to 10,000 individuals especially in the Vermont counties of Rutland, Addison and Windsor.
