Widespread additional heavy rainfall of 3 to 4 inches over Kerr County caused flash flooding to redevelop very quickly. Rainfall totals from the evening of the 27th through the morning of the 28th were 8.5 inches at Kerrville and 9 inches at Mountain Home. Two women were rescued from their motor home when it was swept off a bridge over Indian Creek into the Guadalupe River.
