Several homes and mobile homes were damaged from straight line winds. Many trees and power lines were down. The hardest hit area in the county was 4.7 miles northwest of Manchester or in the Boyton Valley region. The Boyton Valley Baptist Church had major damage. There was also some damage in the Summitville and Normandy area. One woman was injured by a falling tree limb at the Coffee County Flea Market on Highway 55. There was about 1/2 million dollars worth of damage in Coffee county.
