6 houses were damaged 2 miles west of Greenville due to a brief F2 tornado. Also, mobile homes were overturned near the intersection of Georgetown and Greenville Roads, and a rescue unit was deployed. There were no serious injuries, however. One man was in his mobile home when the tornado struck. The tornado sent the mobile home flying, but the man only had a few cuts. Also, a roof off one house was was lifted up by the tornado and then set back down perfectly with only a few shingles missing.
