A severe thunderstorm tore down power lines in Hatfield. About 1,300 homes lost power as trees fell on the lines. All power was restored by 5 a.m. EDT on the 24th. An additional 8,700 homes lost power in the northeast part of the county. A SKYWARN Spotter in Zeiglersville recorded a wind gust to 55 mph at 730 p.m. EDT. Other power outages were reported in East Greenville, Lansdale, Pennsburg and Red Hill.
